Mirror Corners
Mirror corners are strong, therefore, a secure way of mounting a mirror to a wall. Mirror corners are 90° brackets, each with two screw holes, which fit over the 90° corners of the mirror.
To install a mirror with mirror corners:
- Position the mirror on the wall and keep it in place.
- Have someone place each of the brackets over the mirror’s corners and let them mark the mirror corners’ screw holes.
- Use a 5mm masonry drill bit and drill holes in the wall at each of the marks.
- Insert 5mm x 30mm wall plugs into each of the holes.
- Secure the mirror corners to the wall with 3.5mm x 25mm Pan Head Self Tapper screws.
These brackets can also be used to mount a mirror to the back of a frame where there is no rebate for the mirror to sit in.
